Oriental Herb Linguine Salad Recipe

Oriental Herb Linguine Salad
1/2 lb Whole Wheat with Herbs Linguine
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp grape seed oil
2 cloves garli crushed ice
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp Chinese chili oil
3 cups carrots, grated
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 cup cucumber, chopped
1/2 cup Prejean Winery Chardonnay


Toast sesame seeds over medium heat until toasted. Cook pasta in large
pot of
boiling water until al dente; don't overcook. Drain & rinse in cold water

and
drain well again. Toss with a teaspoon of oil. Mash garlic and salt
together, then blend in wine, soy sauce, ginger, oil, brown sugar. Toss
all
ingredients together - can be make ahead, but reserve cucumber, carrots,
and
cilantro to add just before serving.

Serve at room temperature.
