Calvino's Christmas Bread
3 1/2 cup white wheat flour
3 cup granulated white sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cup pumpkin purée
1 cup oil
5 eggs
2/3 cup water
2 cup semisweet chocolate chips or one 12
1 1/2 cup chopped nuts, walnuts, macadamia nu
1 cup raisins


Preheat oven to 350ºF. In medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, soda, salt,
cinnamon. Sift together. Mix in a large bowl, pumpkin, oil, water, eggs.
Mix well. Add small amount of dry ingredients until all is added then, add
nuts, raisins and chips. Grease well and flour loaf pans. Bake for 50 to
60 minutes.
