Christmas Cookies Recipe

Christmas Cookies
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp orange juice
2 tbsp bourbon
1 1/2 tsp soda in 1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 cup flour
1 lb chopped dates
1 lb candied cherries
1 lb candied pineapple
4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped


Cream together eggs, butter and brown sugar. Stir in orange juice,
bourbon and milk-soda mixture. Add flour, pecans and candied fruits.
(Lightly toss candied fruits with a small amount of flour until fruits
separate easily.) Mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie
sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Yields: 6 dozen.
