Alice's Butter Frosting Recipe

...brought to you by Recipes EU

Alice's Butter Frosting
1 cup Granulated sugar
1 cup Butter flavored Crisco or 2
1 stick (1/4 lb
2/3 cup Milk
1 tbsp Vanilla

Mix sugar and Crisco together. Heat milk until hot on finger. (Do not
boil.) Add half of the milk to sugar ~ Crisco mixture and beat 2 minutes.
Add rest of milk and beat 8 minutes longer (a total of 10 minutes all
together). The beating breaks up the sugar granules to a whipped cream
consistency, but is a butter type.

To make a whipped cream frosting, use white Crisco instead of
butter-flavored. (This is Audrey's (my sister-in-laws recipe.) (I use
these often as I don't always have confectioners sugar on hand.)

Diet tips

If you wish to shed a few kilos and boost your overall well-being, then, as any doctor will tell you, you should decide on a meticulously calculated well-balanced meal plan. At best, this must take in 5 standard portions of fruit and vegetables every day and also involve the correct blend of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.

In planning a dietary regime, it is essential to endeavour to restrict your consumption of refined carbohydrates, salt and fats.

When chosing foods for dieting, people often concentrate on retail store and big brand food products claiming to be 'low-fat'. This is frequently a miscalculation, seeing as how a food product can be significantly reduced in fat, but whilst still remaining contain far too much carbohydrates.

Try drinking more water. From time to time in the course of a hectic work day, you consider that you are a little hungry when actually you just need a cool drink of water or fruit juice. The sensations of being hungry and being thirsty are much the same, albeit one of them leads to a broken diet and one leads to no damage.

Instead of focusing on the junk foods you really should ban from your daily routine, focus on the nutritionally sound foods which you can bring into your daily routine. If one can insert the recommended amount wholesome grains, cereals and vegetables into your daily routine, you will be delighted to find that you feel full and have a substantially decreased probability of falling prey to those damaging midday munchies.
