Sour Cream Pound Cake #2
3 cup all-purpose flour
3 cup sugar
1 cup butter
7 eggs
8 oz sour cream
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix sugar and Crisco well and add 1 egg at a time, beating after each egg.
Sift flour and add rest of ingredients.
Bake in 300 oven for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until done.
Cool about 15 minutes. Use knife to go around inside of cake and outside
of cake. turn out on plate, turn over on another plate. Very Good.
Note: For Chocolate pound cake add 1 cup coco and 2 teaspoons baking
powder.
