Moravian Christmas Cookies (Czech)
8 oz Dark molasses
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1/2 cup Margarine
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Allspice
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1 tbsp Baking soda
4 cup Flour

Mix flour, sugar, butter, and spices together. Heat molasses until
lukewarm and add baking soda to it. Add molasses to rest of
ingredients and mix well. If necessary, add a little water to the
dough to get it to a soft enough consistency to roll it. Roll the
dough on a well floured surface, making it as thin as humanly
possible. (Paper thin, if you can!) Cut into desired shapes, and
transfer to a non-stick cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 8
minutes. If ya do it right, you'll end up with a delicately thin,
not too sweet, yummy spicy cookie. This recipe makes about 40,000
cookies , so be prepared to eat lots of 'em!!

Advice on losing weight

If you enjoy eating, but want to become slim and make improvements in your general shape, then, without doubt, you need to decide on a carefully calculated healthy-minded daily routine. In a perfect world, this must involve 5 portions of fruit/vegetables daily and also involve an appropriate combination of fat, carbohydrates and protein.

When deciding on a meal plan, it is essential to also endeavour to decrease your consumption of refined carbohydrate, salt and fats.

At the start of a diet, people usually concentrate on retail store and brand name food products described as 'low fat'. To do this is often a mistake, for an item can be lowered in fats, but nevertheless far too high in calories and carbohydrates.

Drink more water. From time to time at some stage in a busy morning, you have the idea you are peckish when in actuality you simply need a pure glass of water or orange juice. The feelings of hunger and needing a drink are close, but one of the two can result in weight increase and the other leads to no harm.

Instead of concentrating on which types of food that you need to remove from your dietary regime, focus on the good foods that you can add to your weight loss program. If you introduce the recommended portions nourishing grains, cereals and vegetables into your weight loss program, you will be amazed to find that stop feeling hungry and have a far lower risk of falling prey to those unwholesome midday sweets and chocolates.
