Applesauce Diabetic Cookies
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp allspice
1/2 cup quick rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup shortening
2 tsp vanilla
Optional: 1/4 tsp. orange flavoring


Mix moist ingredients and dry ingredients. Drop on greased baking sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Yield: 1 1/2 dozen.
