Gingerbread Waffles No2
2/3 cup molasses
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 egg yolks
1 cup buttermilk
2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup crystalized ginger, chopped
2 egg whites, beaten stiff

Combine the molasses, butter and egg yolks and whisk with fork until
smooth. Blend in the buttermilk.

Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger,
nutmeg and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir in the crystalized ginger.
Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and add the molasses
mixture, beating quickly until smooth. Fold in the egg whites. If
the batter seems too thick, add a little more buttermilk. Bake in
your waffle iron until a dark golden brown. Makes 4 big, thick
waffles.

A few tips on healthy eating

If you wish to lose weight and increase your general well-being, without doubt you really should start a methodically calculated balanced diet. At best, this should incorporate five standard portions of fruit & veg every day and embrace an appropriate blend of important nutrients.

Dieters usually direct their attention on food store and brand name food products labelled as 'low fat'. This is often wrong, given that a food product might be reduced in fat content, but also much too high in carbohydrates.

In planning a weight loss system, the most important step is to also try to decrease your consumption of refined carbohydrate, fat and salt.
